Molokai Kitchen is an upgraded and refined derivative brand of Molokai, which not only retains the distinctive features and traditional dishes of most Molokai, but also pays more attention to the dinner menu as a whole, offering more options in their classics. The tastes are carefully tailored to cater to the local market, satisfying the discerning tastebuds of diners.

The name Molokai originates from a famous street in the central area of Hong Kong. The first store opened in Shanghai’s Xintiandi in November 2012, and the second store was established in Taikoo Hui Mall in 2017.

2018 Saw two Molokai Kitchens open in LCM and L+ Mall in Pudong, and another Molokai opened in Disneytown at Shanghai Disneyland. Molokai combines a batch of traditional Hong Kong-style dishes with colonial cuisine. It combines the oriental and western production characteristics to create a menu that interprets the perfect blend of Chinese and Western cultures and is typically Hong Kong.

The executive chef of the restaurant is from Hong Kong and has over 40 years of experience. Western chefs are all from Shanghai’s five-star hotels. The whole team of chefs cooks well and is not only dedicated to authentic Cantonese cuisine, but also brings unique and innovative cuisine and international flavor to the diners.
